"CubicVR 360": Kostenlose 3-D-Panoramen mit Flash

Ein interessantes neues Tool namens "CubicVR 360" erlaubt die Darstellung von 3D-Panoramen im Flash-Player, zusammen mit interaktiven Features wie interaktive Hotspots und Maus-Wanderung. Dabei kann der Flash-Film von außerhalb mittels JavaScript gesteuert und verändert werden.

Das Tool ist derzeit noch ziemlich rudimentär, aber der vermutlich erste kostenlos verfügbare Viewer.

Dazu der Berliner Urheber André Michellea auf seiner englischsprachigen Web-Site: "Most panoramas today are displayed using Quicktime or Java Viewers. A quick look at the Flash penetration stats reveals that Flash is the most ubiquitous* plugin worldwide, so why not use flash to deliver your CubicVRs and Panoramas worldwide?  Flash is easy to install and doesn't require your viewers to go through complex download instructions and installation procedures. Furthermore it doesn't hang on your website for seconds, when it contains quicktime or java media. The Flashplayer is just there!"
