"Photoshop Express": neues zu der Online-Version von Adobes "Photoshop"

Besucher der "Photoshop World" durften einen ersten Blick auf "Photoshop Express" werfen. So soll die Online-Version von Adobes Bildbearbeitungsklassiker "Photoshop" wohl heissen. Dabei legt das Unternehmen wert auf die Feststellung, dass "Photoshop Express" mitnichten ein Ersatz für "Photoshop" oder "Photoshop Elements" sei. Der Service sei vielmehr ein neues Mitglied der Software-Familie, zu der ja auch mittlerweile die Profi-Fotosoftware "Lightroom" gehört.

"Photoshop Express" soll grob der Philosoophie des Online-Service "Premiere Express" folgen, der mittlerweile als "YouTube Remixer" sowie auch bei "Photobucket" und "MTV.com" in Erscheinung tritt, und wohl ebenfalls Flash- bzw. Flex-basiert sein.

Photoshop-Prodktmanager John Nack formuliert das wie folgt: "Photoshop Express, though not yet publicly available, aims to offer a similarly easy, approachable experience for image editing.

I can't share a ton of additional detail at the moment, but here's a screenshot of the app in action. Adobe Sr. VP John Loiacono showed that it was possible to adjust an image just by rolling over the different versions shown at the top, previewing the results and then clicking the desired degree of modification."
