Einzelframes aus einem Film sichern: So geht Frame Grabbing auf dem Mac

Um Einzelbilder aus einem Video zu sichern, gibt es einen einfachen Weg auf dem Mac. Die einfachste Lösung hört auf den Namen "AddMovie" und ist eine Shareware für Mac OS X (ab Version 10.4).

Der Film kann über einen ausfahrbaren Viewer angecshaut werden, mit den Pfeiltasten kann wie im "QuickTime Player" Frame-by-Frame navigiert werden. Durch Klick in "Save Frame..." kann das aktuelle Bild als Einzelbild abgespeichert werden. Das Format hierfür kann eingestellt werden, der Default ist TIFF.

Eigentlich ist das Tool für einen anderen Zweck: "AddMovie is a utility for concatenating several files into one single movie. You can also use AddMovie to batch convert a collection of movies to another format." Aber es kann auch Bilder extrahieren: "Saving a frame to an image file. Move the playhead to the frame you want to save as an image, then click the "Save Frame..." button. You will then be prompted for the name and location of the image file."
